Niki is the Workplace Experience and Capability Executive within Telstra’s People, Culture and Communications team. She is responsible for the end to end talent lifecycle including hiring, leadership, learning, career, talent, DEI and Workforce Strategy. Niki is also responsible for driving Telstra’s cultural change program, workforce intelligence and managing Telstra’s commercial properties and workplace technologies to provide a hybrid experience that flawlessly merges physical presence with digital convenience for all team members. Prior to this role Niki has held
several executive roles within Human Resources at Telstra and has a strong background in Technology companies.
Kathryn van der Merwe (Kath) joined Telstra in July 2023 as the Group Executive of People, Culture and Communications. Kath is a highly regarded people and transformation leader with a track record of strengthening organisational culture and capability. In her role with Telstra, she is responsible for supporting our people to deliver great
outcomes for our customers through building the capabilities and culture required to deliver on our ambitious T25 strategy. Kath holds a Doctorate in Psychology and Bachelor of Science with first-class honours from UNSW.
Michael is a highly accomplished global Human Resources leader with over 20 years of experience in strategizing and implementing global talent initiatives that drive business results and improves both employee and company performance. He is a trusted business partner to C-level and executive management teams with an extensive record of executing high-impact global talent solutions.
Michael currently serves as Spotify’s Head of HR for JAPAC & SAMEA (Japan, South East Asia, South Korea, Australia/New Zealand, India, South Asia, Middle East, and Africa), where he is responsible for driving
Jane has a passion for helping organisations unlock the potential in their teams and enabling future-fit people and organisations to thrive in change, complexity and ambiguity. Having held senior leadership roles at major organisations in the UK and Australia across the public service, financial services, healthcare and oil & gas industries, Jane brings deep expertise at guiding businesses through complex change, future-ready talent strategies and fostering high-performing cultures. In her role at Woolworths, she is focused on talent, culture, learning and inclusion and leveraging the evolving technology landscape to drive impact at pace and scale.
Brian Hershey is the Director, Product Strategy at Gloat. Before joining Gloat, Brian was an investment professional at Eight Roads Ventures, the global venture capital arm of Fidelity, and held positions across the firm’s New York, London, Tokyo, and Tel Aviv offices. Brian is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and currently resides in Palo Alto, California.
