Tanuj is a recognized thought-leader on the future of work. She is often featured by leading global media including BBC, The Economist, Financial Times, and Bloomberg. Her first book ‘The Skills-Powered Organization – The Journey to the Next Generation Enterprise’ will be published by the MIT Press in 2024.
Tanuj is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Sainsbury’s PLC, an Associate Non-Executive Director on the Board of NHS England and a member of the Asia House Board of Trustees.
Katarina Berg heads up Spotify’s global HR and Global Workplace Services teams. In addition to her global roles, Katarina is also the General Manager for Spotify in Sweden. She’s been with the company since 2013, leading the talent transformation during the business transition from a startup to a mature international company. Her work has been instrumental in making Spotify one of the most attractive employers in Sweden and internationally, earning several awards for its appealing workplace environment.
Before joining Spotify, Katarina held high-profile HR roles in various multinational companies, such as Preem, Swedbank, Kanal 5 (SBS Broadcasting), and 3 (Hi3G Access). In 2023, Katarina released BOLD – a book on strategic HR in a new era. In her book, she inspires other HR professionals to be more courageous in their HR work, whether it’s about tackling a challenging change project, driving global growth, or focusing on finding the right people for key positions.
Claire Tunley is the Chief Executive of the Financial Services Skills Commission, appointed in May 2020.
Prior to this role, Claire was Head of Skills at City of London Corporation leading on skills and talent policy. In this role, Claire was seconded to the Financial Services Skills Taskforce as subject matter expert on skills; led the creation of a sector deal on apprenticeships between the Professional Business Services Council and government; worked with the Government Equalities Office to create an action-based guide on supporting women’s progression in the work place; and created an innovative partnership with local schools to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain a professional financial services qualification.
Claire has worked in skills and economic development in both local and central government roles for over 20 years. Claire is a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and is a governor of a secondary academy located in an area of deprivation and is the nominated lead governor for careers.
Mark leads on Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and skills tooling for Nationwide Building Society; which has ~18,000 permanent UK employees working in an actively changing Financial Services market. Over the last few years this has included establishing a SWP methodology for the organisation and implementing Gloat talent marketplace tooling to build out a skills-based organisation approach.
At The Josh Bersin Company, Bo is a frequent keynote speaker, moderator, and advisor and supports business development for the EMEA region. Originally from the Netherlands, Bo has worked in Amsterdam, New York, Cape Town, and Copenhagen, and now lives in The Hague, the Netherlands. Bo holds a Master’s in Educational Sciences from the University of Leiden and is a certified SAFe Agelist. She teaches the HR Leadership Master’s Program in collaboration with IE Business University and Nyenrode University. June 2024 marked the launch of her first book: The Best Version of Me’, co-authored with leading scientists and industry experts to become the best version of yourself.
Marcus is a Partner in Mercer‘s Organisational and Workforce Transformation team for Mercer based in London. He has spent over 25 years as a Human Capital Consultant working globally in a range of multinational organizations to ensure their people strategies align to business strategies and also have robust practical implementation plans alongside them.
He has worked with a number of large national and multinational clients to help them think through the implications of how people, skills, work and technology are constantly changing and the need to fuse these 3 things together to deliver increased organisational productivity as well as positive results for employees.
Mel Lee is the Head of HR Strategy & Transformation at HSBC. She is responsible for overseeing the Global HR strategy and change portfolio, delivering HR’s flagship programs and developing HR change and transformation capability for the function.
Prior to joining HSBC, Mel was Managing Director, HR Transformation at Accenture, where she also partnered with HSBC to deliver their global HR Transformation program. Mel was born in Finland and spent her childhood and teenage years living between England and Moscow, Africa, Kuwait, Indonesia, and Israel. Mel currently lives in Essex, a move she made during the pandemic to be closer to her family.
Laurie is a known leader in the talent industry, currently serving as the Managing Director of Advisory at AMS. With over two decades of experience in human capital management, Laurie has a proven track record of delivering exceptional talent solutions for clients across diverse industries.
Laurie’s expertise lies in her ability to align talent strategies with business objectives, ensuring that organizations attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent. Her strategic vision and in-depth understanding of market dynamics have enabled her to lead successful initiatives that enhance organizational performance and drive growth.
Before joining AMS, Laurie held senior leadership positions at several renowned TA firms, where she honed skills in executive search, RPO, contingent labour and early careers. Her hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and HR leaders.
Noam Mordechay is the Vice President of Business Development at Gloat, where he spearheads the development of new and emerging AI technologies in relation to skills infrastructure and transformation. Prior to this role, Noam led Gloat’s business development operation and served as the Founder and CEO of ScaleMe, a business development firm for technology startups looking to expand into the Middle East. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology, and an MA in Public and Political Leadership from Tel Aviv University.
Prior to joining Gloat, Jeff was a principal with Deloitte Consulting for 20 years, most recently as the U.S. Leader for the Future of Work. He was also the founding editor and a principal author of Deloitte’s Global Human Capital Trends report since 2011 and the co-founder of Catalyst Tel Aviv, the firm’s first global innovation tech hub. In Tel Aviv in 2016, Jeff first met the founders of Gloat while researching one of the first future-of-work startup landscape surveys.
Aoife Kilduff is Director of Value & Adoption at Gloat and has partnered with over 25 organisations to launch and sustain Gloat’s products. Prior to joining Gloat she was part of the Future of Work consulting team in Deloitte London. Aoife comes from a psychology background and has a Masters in Cognitive Science from University College Dublin.
